User Agreement
This agreement governs your use of Ferrum Sentinel, operated by Funway Interactive SRL ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read the authorised-use section carefully — it is the core of how this product must be used.
1. The service
Ferrum Sentinel is a cybersecurity posture scanner and reporting platform. It runs safe, passive, public checks against domains, produces a health score and prioritised findings, and generates reports. It is not a penetration-testing, exploitation, or intrusion tool, and a clean result is not a guarantee of security (see §7).
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Authorised use & domain ownership
You may run the free public preview against a domain to see basic, publicly-visible information. To run the deeper, verified-domain checks, you must first prove ownership or control of the domain via the verification mechanism we provide.
You agree to scan only domains that you own or are explicitly authorised to assess. You must not use the service to scan, probe, or target systems you do not have permission to test, or to attempt to circumvent the product's safety limits.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to violate anyone's rights.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Do not use outputs to facilitate an attack on any system.
- Do not resell or provide the service to third parties except under an applicable MSP/partner arrangement with us.
5. Safe-scanning commitment
The product is designed to be non-invasive: checks are rate-limited, bounded, and passive, and it does not perform exploitation, credential guessing, denial-of-service, or aggressive crawling. You agree not to misuse the service or its results in any way that would be inconsistent with that design.
6. Reports and content
You own your scan results and reports. You grant us the limited rights needed to generate, store, and deliver them to you. If you share a report via a public link, you are responsible for who you share it with.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. A passing score means the safe public checks did not detect a problem — it is not a guarantee that your systems are secure, and it does not assess your internal network, endpoints, or application logic. Security findings are provided for your information and action.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Funway Interactive SRL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the service or its outputs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Intellectual property
The service, its software, and its branding are owned by Funway Interactive SRL and its licensors. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
10. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of the Republic of Moldova have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; we will revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions: funwayinteractive.com/contact.
